Same Day Dental Implants

Nobody tolerates a missing tooth for long. Especially if the missing tooth is in the front. Advances in dental implants over the past several years have made immediate treatment possible.

Immediate load implants, commonly known as same-day dental implants, allow the patient to have their tooth replaced the same day as their appointment or when a damaged tooth is extracted.

Same-Day Dental Implants for a Beautiful Smile

At your initial consultation, you will meet with Dr. Parsa T. Zadeh, who has the knowledge and expertise to give you the very best treatment possible. Thanks to his decades of experience, Dr. Zadeh will handle your case quickly and with minimum discomfort and inconvenience.

Whether you are missing a tooth or require an extraction and replacement, you can be evaluated for dental implants. During your evaluation, you will have your dental history reviewed thoroughly. This is done to ensure your safety and to make sure you are a good candidate for immediate implants. Nearly all patients who are healthy enough for an extraction are healthy enough for implants.

During your consultation, Dr. Zadeh will take extensive digital X-rays and CT Scans of your mouth, teeth and gums. He works down to the smallest detail of your case and determines if there are any problem areas that need to be addressed. This is done to make sure your pending implant will be successfully placed. He will also take impressions of your teeth to create the perfect fit in relation to your other teeth.

As an experienced dental implant surgeon, he will be with you from start to finish. There are no other doctors involved or use of “team” dentistry. His intimate understanding of your case will ensure that you get the best treatment possible. This will also ensure there is no confusion or disagreement on the results you want between different doctors. It is all part of our philosophy that here, you are the celebrity.

The Process of Immediate Dental Implants

In the case of same-day dental implants, Dr. Zadeh will immediately place a titanium or zirconia post into the socket where the tooth sat. Once this is installed, you will have an abutment and crown placed, which will serve as your replacement tooth.

Your temporary and permanent crowns are manufactured in-house with our state of the art CEREC machine. The tooth will be colored and shaped to match the rest of your teeth, ensuring that your smile will have a healthy and natural appearance. Do not worry about messy, unpleasant tasting molding clays! Your impressions will be taken by an advanced CAD/CAM machine that creates a digital image of your mouth.

While you heal, you are given a temporary crown that will serve as your new tooth. This temporary is used until the dental implant bonds properly to your bone and your surgery heals.

After several months, the implant will bond to your jawbone and become a part of your body. You will likely come in a couple of times before your permanent crown placement to make sure everything is healing properly. This will also ensure that any adjustments or changes necessary can be done without disrupting the healing process.
